We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Annual Meeting in Arlington, April 16-20, 2026. This year’s meeting theme will be:
"OPENING DOORS: Welcoming New Perspectives in Geriatric Mental Health and Aging".
The Annual Meeting offers cutting-edge educational programming for a broad audience of allied health professionals, including geriatric and general psychiatrists, medical students, residents and fellows, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and researchers. We also encourage general psychiatry residents and medical students with a special interest in the mental health treatment of older adults to attend our annual meeting. Whether you work in a private hospital, clinic, academic medical center, state mental health facility, long-term care setting, or private practice, the AAGP Annual Meeting has something for you.

Cancellation Policy
Meeting registration fees will be refunded (less $50 process fee) if the Executive Office receives written notice to info@aagponline.org by Thursday, March 19th, 2026.

Scholars Program
The Scholars Program is for medical student and resident (PGY 1-3) trainees interested in the prospect of pursuing Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship. The Scholars program offers mentorship, career development and professional growth in an engaging, warm and collegial environment. The opportunity to network, participate actively in AAGP committees and caucuses and attend nationally renowned educational sessions is unprecedented and only available through this program. Applications for the 2026 meeting will open in August of 2025.
