The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry is the authoritative source of information for the rapidly developing field of geriatric psychiatry. The journal contains peer-reviewed articles on the diagnosis and classification of psychiatric disorders of later life, epidemiological and biological correlates of mental health of older adults, and psychopharmacology and other somatic treatments.
The AAGP is also proud to introduce The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry: Open Science, Education, and Practice, an open access journal publishing on clinical care, education, and investigation in different fields of geriatric mental health research, education, and practice, with the understanding that geriatric mental health research, education, and practice are all truly interdisciplinary at their best, and increasingly trans-disciplinary.
The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry: Open Science, Education, and Practice journals are also published on ScienceDirect.com.
