Distinguished Fellow
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a full member in good standing of the AAGP for at least 10 consecutive years
- Have attended at least 6 AAGP Annual Meetings as a full member
- Show excellence in at least two of the five Evaluation Categories as demonstrated by your curriculum vitae.
- Be sponsored by two AAGP full members who must submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf to the Membership Committee. Letters of reference should address the specific areas (clinical work, teaching, scientific/scholarly work, administration, and/or AAGP participation) that are the basis of the applicants’ case for AAGP Distinguished Fellowship.
- Be approved by the Membership Committee and by the AAGP Board of Directors.
- Attend an Annual Meeting Plenary in order to be installed to Distinguished Fellowship.

How to Prepare Your Application
- Describe your activities in the Evaluation Categories portion of the online application and add any supplemental information that you feel the membership committee should know about you.
- Don't forget to add your current curriculum vitae.
- Have your 2 AAGP member references fill out the reference online application.
