WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC is seeking a BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional mental health care for our community at our Cary Hospital. WakeMed serves a diverse patient population and embraces a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care. WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking to meet the growing need of our aging population in Cary, NC by providing comprehensive psychiatric consultations within WakeMed Hospital Cary and also by expanding our available outpatient geriatric psychiatry resources. The ideal candidate will have the ability and passion to work independently within a multidisciplinary team at WakeMed Hospital Cary, will have a particular passion and expertise for treating older adults (though will be comfortable treating individuals of all ages), and will collaborate with other specialties to provide exceptional mental health care.
