Description

This session will review a series of cases demonstrating how psychotropic polypharmacy can easily develop or present as a challenge in a variety of patient care settings (e.g. acute care, outpatient, consult-liason service). Following each case presentation, approaches to minimizing psychotropic polypharmacy/deprescribing in these settings will be discussed, as well as how to address challenges that may arise in these situations.
