2025 Annual Meeting

AAGP invites you to attend the 2025 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona from March 14-17, 2025. This year's meeting theme is "Human Rights and Mental Health Advocacy for Aging Adults."

The Annual Meeting offers cutting-edge educational programming for a broad audience of allied health professionals, including geriatric and general psychiatrists, medical students, residents and fellows, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and researchers.

We also encourage general psychiatry residents and medical students with a special interest in the mental health treatment of older adults to attend our annual meeting. Whether you work in a private hospital, clinic, state mental health facility, skilled nursing facility, or long-term care setting, or private practice, the AAGP Annual Meeting had something to offer you.

Submission Guidelines

We invite innovative and interactive programs targeted toward clinicians, researchers, and educators. Clinicians and investigators in all areas of geriatric psychiatry, psychology, neurology, medicine, nursing, social work, and other related disciplines are encouraged to submit abstracts of original work for presentation at the AAGP Annual Meeting.

Location

The 2025 AAGP Annual Meeting will take place March 14-17 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona. More information, including a link to book your accommodations will be available soon.

Scholars Program

The Scholars Program is for medical student and resident (PGY 1-3) trainees interested in the prospect of pursuing Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship. The Scholars program offers mentorship, career development and professional growth in an engaging, warm and collegial environment. The opportunity to network,  participate actively in AAGP committees and caucuses and attend nationally renowned educational sessions  is  unprecedented and only available through this program.
