The AAGP Board Review Course in Geriatric Psychiatry is now available on demand, providing a flexible opportunity for clinicians to access this comprehensive, high-yield program at their convenience. Designed for geriatric psychiatrists preparing for board certification or recertification, fellows, and other healthcare professionals caring for older adults, the course offers a structured review of essential topics related to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions in older adults. Led by experienced, board-certified geriatric psychiatrists and nationally recognized educators, the curriculum emphasizes evidence-based, real-world practice and includes board-style self-assessment questions to help participants evaluate their knowledge, identify learning gaps, and reinforce key concepts. The on-demand course is available for purchase through December 31, 2026, and purchasers will have access to the content through July 1, 2027.
The AAGP Journal Club is a quarterly virtual series that connects AAGP members, scholars, and trainees with timely research published in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry (AJGP). Each one-hour session features an author or guest expert who explores a recently published article, discusses its key findings, and considers its relevance to research and clinical practice in geriatric mental health. Attendees are invited to engage in the conversation and ask questions during a live discussion following the presentation.
