Dr. Raji will present on his publication in the AJGP from 10/2023 entitled "Neuroinflammation: A Modifiable Pathway Linking Obesity, Alzheimer's Disease, and Depression" Abstract ACCME Credit Designation Statement: Update coming Learning Objectives: Develop a working mechanistic knowledge of how chronic neuroinflammation from obesity and metabolic syndrome contributes to the pathophysiology of both depression and Alzheimer's disease. Review past pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions aimed at reducing neuroinflammation in obesity, depression, and Alzheimer's disease, as well as ongoing neuroimaging initiatives utilized to measure neuroinflammation in living persons.
