Q: How many CME/CE credits are offered for the 2022 annual meeting?

We are thrilled to announce we will offer an unprecedented 81 CME/CE credits to all registered attendees, as well as eight (8) Self-Assessment credits. Recordings for CME/CE sessions will be available online after the annual meeting for all (live or virtual) attendees for a period of 12 months.

 

Q: What COVID precautions will be implemented onsite?

We will follow several precautions related to COVID-19, including masking and the use of hand sanitizing stations. We also ask all attendees to show proof of vaccination status at registration check-in. Due to the changing landscape of COVID-19 we are no longer offering onsite testing.

 

Q: What does hybrid mean?

Plenary sessions and all general (i.e., CME/CE) sessions will be fully accessible to all attendees live in Orlando, FL, and online via Zoom. Some annual meeting events are live only.

 

Q: Do all speakers for CME/General Sessions need to present onsite?

Speakers for CME/General Sessions may decide to present virtually or onsite. Zoom links for speakers and attendees will be sent out closer to the annual meeting launch.

 

Q: Is the Scholars Program offered this year?

The AAGP Scholars Program will be available in an interactive format for live and virtual attendees. The Scholars Program is available to all trainees who register for the annual meeting, but trainees who have not received scholarships need to sign up in advance by emailing rmorgan@aagponline.org.

 

Q: Is there a board review course this year?

The Board Review course will be offered virtually, at a different time and date, more proximal to the upcoming examination in October.

 

Q: Are poster sessions hybrid as well?

Poster sessions will be conducted LIVE only in Orlando. All poster presenters (even those not attending) will have their abstracts published in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.

 

Q: Will committee and caucus sessions be hybrid?

No, we are not able to offer hybrid committee or caucus meetings. For those onsite, we will have *some* onsite committee and caucus meetings. Please check the program for details. If a committee or caucus session that you are interested in is NOT noted in the program, then the committee chair opted to host a virtual event outside of the scheduled annual meeting.
