University of New Mexico Department of Psychiatry Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry
The UNM Geriatric Psychiatry program is seeking to fill two (2) positions for the 2009-2010 year.
The UNM Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship is a one-year ACGME accredited program located in the Albuquerque, NM--The Land of Enchantment. The Geriatric Fellowship's diverse faculty has designed this program to prepare general psychiatrists both to manage medically fragile elderly patients as well as to expand expertise in consultation-liaison psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and eating disorders. Fellows receive solid core training in inpatient and outpatient care alongside opportunities to focus on palliative care, sleep medicine, traumatic brain injury, neuroimaging, research, rural outreach, or other individual goals.
Candidates will have completed an accredited four (4) year psychiatry residency. Applications and additional information can be found on our website:
